Out of your comfort zone
is where the magic happens
How Do You Use Imagicals?
We have ideas about that, but it works best if you put your own spin on it. Use Imagicals as an approachable leadership tool to engage in conversation. For example, exchange cards in one-on-one meetings to advance trust and initiate dialogue.

Our Story
Hadewig Doktor and Nick van Dam have developed Imagicals from their vision of leadership. According to Nick, “For leaders, it’s essential to seek moments of pause to reflect on their daily challenges.”
Hadewig had long toyed with the idea of supporting leaders by using a practical tool: “The cards are a mirror for yourself and others around you. As a leader, you need to mirror an issue from different filters, which should be done in conversation with others.” Lees meer
Hadewig and Nick have known each other since they were in college. Nick is connected to leadership in two ways: he has led teams in organizations worldwide for over twenty-five years, and also designs and facilitates international leadership programs. In addition, Nick has written several books and articles on personal development and leadership.

Many leaders still operate in the old management paradigm whereby they themselves have to come up with the solution to every problem. In this day and age, however, leadership actually requires continuous questioning and engagement with others in order to devise solutions together. The essence is to make space for new, creative possibilities by working together.

Many leaders are busy from “eight to late” with hardly any time for moments of reflection.
